I began quilt making in 1989 as a way to continue my great-grandmother's legacy. I am a lover of puzzles and math which peaked my interest in it as I began my journey. Quilt making obviously became my hobby of choice, and at times a source of income- longarm quilting for customers for many years. In 2007 I made my first Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx quilt, 'Which Ways North'. The accuracy, precision, and beauty, of Quiltworx patterns quickly made them my favorites. I have been leading a paper-piecing club since 2013 at a local quilt shop, and have taught other quilt classes and made numerous guild presentations over the years. I love to share the process of paper-piecing, and I really love seeing the success of my students as they complete their very own Quiltworx projects and quilts!
